Coyam 2004, Emiliana - score 90/100 “Dense purply red. Ripe, sweet, coffee and fruitcake nose. Soy sauce, coffee, chocolate and herbal notes. Carmenere makes its presence felt. Still very primary”.
Balgownie Estate Shiraz 2004 - score 90/100 “Animal notes on on the nose. Mineral, sulphides. Nice palate texture. Closed and needs air. Plenty of personality and not built on fruit. Tannins are soft. Nice Rhône style wine, still young”.

Brunello di Montalcino 2004, Castiglion del Bosco – score 88/100 “Medium garnet red, sweet, cedary, mature but fresh nose. Touches of chestnut, medium bodied, dry, gently astringent with spicy fruit and dark chocolate. Fine tannins and a dry finish”.
